Every qipao is fully hand-stitched by master artisans with over ten years of experience. Each stitch is carefully placed, creating a smooth fit that naturally follows the body’s curves, without the need for waist darts.
To complement the delicate lightness of lace, we adopted an ultra-fine single binding technique. Standard single binding is usually 0.6–1 cm wide, while incense-thread binding is as narrow as 0.2 cm. To achieve both the refinement of single binding and the fineness of incense-thread binding, we pushed craftsmanship to the limit—narrowing the binding to just 0.4 cm. This makes the sewing process slower and more meticulous, but ensures exceptional detail.
The collar is designed with a sheer finish, harmonizing with the elegance of lace—like a crystal slipper, it must be both transparent and exquisitely sculpted.
This collection also incorporates natural plant dyeing, blending madder root and turmeric to create a luminous spectrum of golden-orange shades, with a subtle fragrance reminiscent of essential oils from plants.
